Inspired by the Italian Riviera

Garden Villa is a thoughtful transformation of a three level residence in Sydney's Bellevue Hill, originally designed by Espie Dods. Inspired by the relaxed luxury of traditional Italian Riviera villas, Marco Meneguzzi reimagined the floor plan to strengthen the connection between the home's interiors and its verdant surrounds.

At the heart of the design is a generous loggia that extends the main living spaces outdoors, creating a sheltered setting for dining, entertaining and everyday living. Framed by the garden, pool and distant harbour views, it becomes a natural continuation of the home, while a palette of warm finishes, Italian tiles and natural textures reinforces its Mediterranean influence.

Cotswold Furniture was selected to complement this vision with collections that reflect the home's relaxed Mediterranean character and emphasis on comfortable outdoor living. Lounges from the Riviera Collection create inviting spaces beneath the loggia, while the Safi Round Dining Table paired with Mia Chairs provides an elegant setting for long lunches and family gatherings. Finished in Honey with Olive Green cushions, the furniture echoes the home's natural palette and blends naturally with the surrounding landscape.
