Aluminium

Allsize Table and Niwa chairs by FAST in Iron Grey powder-coated aluminum, shown in an outdoor setting on a wooden deck with a natural garden backdrop.

Lightweight and oh-so-easy!

Aluminium is a unique material and the third most abundant element in the world which is why it is ideal for numerous applications.

Aluminium is used as an alternative to steel, especially for outdoor use.

This versatile material features prominently in our garden table bases, dining and lounge chair frames, and even as table tops for coffee or side tables.

Due to its density, which is only 1/3 that of steel, aluminium is extremely lightweight and therefore very easy to handle.

Aluminium has a self-protective layer, which prevents corrosion, making it exceptionally well-suited for outdoor applications.

Our aluminum is powder-coated for added durability and a sleek finish.

Aluminium Maintenance

Aluminium furniture is remarkably low-maintenance. A gentle wash with a soft cloth and mild, non-foaming detergent from time to time is all that’s required. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth to prevent water marks.

For more persistent stains, remove loose dirt first, then clean using a cloth dampened with a diluted detergent solution. If needed, apply a little detergent directly to the mark, allow it to sit briefly, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

To preserve the finish, always address spills promptly. Avoid using abrasive tools or harsh chemicals, which can damage the powder coating.

Please do not cover aluminium furniture with plastic tablecloths or non-breathable materials, as these can trap moisture and leave marks. Instead, choose breathable covers or store under shelter during extended periods of disuse.
